Stella Gratrix

Stella is a self taught pyrographic artist whose interest in pyrography as a hobby has brown to become a professional enterprise. She is assisted by her husband Charles, who is a former student at Manchester Regional College of Art.

As the daughter of a Shropshire villager, Stella has always had an interest in wildlife and Celtic Art. This manifests itself in much of her output, all of which is produced in Wales. 

Stella participates in exhibitions and craft fairs. In addition, Stells sells through retail outlets in Wales, and is happy to undertake commissions. She was pleased to have been selected to complete the lettering on the Bardic Chair for the 1999 Powys Eisteddfod.
